The scientific aim of the marine survey was to collect geophysical data (2D seismic, gravity and magnetic) in the territorial water of New Zealand offshore East Cape. The Gravity data assisted the understanding of the petroleum prospectivity, the geological setting and the environmental significance of the survey area.
